Welcome to the new PFA Team.
My name is Hannah Jordan and I am the Chair. I have been involved with the PFA since my son started school in Reception.
The PFA committee have many new faces this year, and we would love to get as many parents as possible involved in running and organising exciting new events for the children.
The funds raised are used to make their time at Swalecliffe as fun as possible whilst providing them with new learning materials and opportunities!
By creating and changing events we hope to enhance the children's school life, provide magical experiences and create lasting memories along the way! Recently, we have contributed money to help set up the Math’s Trail, Forest school, to buy library and reading books, to pay for pantomimes for the children, reduced the cost of school trips...and much, much more.
We are a small team and would love to see new faces and have new ideas. Please come along and join us and spare as much or as little time as you can.
Every little bit helps!
Thank you, Hannah.

Thank you to everybody for supporting our events. With your help we have raised over £5,000 so far this year. With this and money raised last year, we have contributed £10,000 towards the new Maths trail. In the past, for example, we have donated £3,000 to the school to purchase library books for KS2 children, and made a substantial contribution to the Astroturf, which has made such a difference to outside play. We also donate £2,000 each year to provide additional activities to support the children's learning in Years 1 and 5.
