What a treat it was to welcome Lucy Strange back into school yesterday! Lucy spoke to our children in Years 4-6 about her inspirations for writing and read them some of her latest book. Our children's ideas were sensational! A fab job helping from our English Subject Champions too! The book signing was a huge success with quite a queue! Thank you for your patience. A humungous thank you to the brilliant Lucy Strange - how lucky are we!!! Please email Miss Garton any pics you took of your children with Lucy if you are happy for her to share/display these.

What a brilliant Sport's Day!!! The Whitstable Giant, Sam, even joined us. Congratulations to the Herons house who pipped Puffins to the post in a close-run sport's day. The relays were definitely exciting! A huge thank you to Mr Newhouse and the PE Team! Also, a thank you to the PFA for providing every child with an ice-lolly today.

The group of children who chose not to go on PGL had a fab time too: artwork, archery, beach walks, ice-cream, swimming, bowling and a trip to the Whitstable Museum. What a joy they were!!!

Our final morning and up bright and early to pack bags and strip beds before our activities. The sun is shining and the zip wire is ready! Everyone slept well but I think they are looking forward to their own beds tonight! #PGL2024

We can't believe it's our final evening. Disco time before packing for home! Roast dinner today for anyone that wanted it but plenty of alternatives too. Abseiling, archery, canoeing, sensory trails and so much more! #PGL2024

A beautiful morning at PGL. An early breakfast then time to play a quick game of football or relax in rooms before the first activities begin. Some of us just like watching the wildlife! #PGL2024

Year 6 at PGL- the rain cleared up and the sun came out Another great afternoon of activities. Time for a trip to the shop after dinner then off to evening activities with a games tournament planned by our group leaders. #PGL2024
