Author visit.
The author visit with Lucy Strange was a tremendous success and such a wonderful experience for our Year 4,5 and 6 children. Lucy shared her readings from her books. There was a real buzz in the hall!! Some of the children came to school the next day telling their teachers about the stories they had been inspired to write after listening to Lucy. The queue for the book signing went past the car park! A huge thank you to Lucy.
Author Visit
#NO OUTSIDERS
On 1st Mar we had the marvellous Mr Moffat working with us in school. He held assemblies and read stories to all the year groups then ran a session for the adults after school...100+ of our CACoT colleagues joined us for this event. His message is that no one should be made to feel like an outsider. We are all different but we are all welcome - there are No Ousiders here. #Nooutsiders
Jubilee Picnic
Thank you to all the staff for making the Jubilee picnic a success- but especially our kitchen team who worked so hard! There was so much food! The children looked great in a sea of red, white and blue and enjoyed being together for lunch. Finally- thank you to the parents for all the bunting, flags and crowns which they kindly donated. The school looked great when the children came in. Mr Wills and Mr Cripps were busy behind the scenes setting everything up. What a great team! 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
