Three of our Year 2 children attended an Art workshop at Herne Bay High on 7/6.  They had to design a piece of art in the style on Henri Matisse and boy did they smash it.  First they drew patterns like wiggly worms, spikey plants, grass, buzzing bumble bees and flowers in a flower bed then they cut out garden inspired shapes.  Lastly they stuck them all on a background like a collage.  A very big thank you goes out to Ms Penfold from Hern Bay High for spending time teaching and guiding but most of all inspiring our young artists.

World Book Day 2023 was a wonderful celebration in the Infants.  Can you guess the staff 'sounds'?  A fab pic of RH's reading pillowcases too!

In the Juniors, the theme was 'Come as a word' so can you guess our staff's words?  A rip-roaring great day for our children, particularly 'reading buddies' at the end of the day where our older children shared books with the younger ones.
