Values Day- 27.05.22 - Year R

What a fabulously British day! RG children each wrote a shopping list for our afternoon tea party with the Queen, which Mrs Watson took to the shop the night before. Then we followed 3 step instructions and made our own sandwiches, which were delicious. We also made British flags, decorated sticks with British coloured wool, rescued the Queen from a maze, decorated our plates to make them fancy, played pin the tail on the corgi, and danced to the National anthem. Finally, we enjoyed afternoon tea with Queen Elizabeth herself, tasting all her favourite British treats; jammy dodgers, custard creams, iced cake and scones with jam and cream. Yummy! The Queen said we were the most smartly dressed school children she had ever seen! We told her what an amazing reign she is having! 

RH enjoyed a dance after eating their biscuits and RP loved making their masks and then listening to God Save the Queen. A fabulous day for everyone! They are all looking forward to celebrating Jubilee Day next Friday with the rest of the school.
