Aurella Smith-Anthony Parent Governor

Following my local state school education, I gained degrees in science at Oxford and law in London. I’ve since been a city lawyer for 10 years, but maintained links to education throughout by mentoring and teaching in schools and now weekly reading at Swalecliffe. I do charitable work and love sports, outdoor pursuits and the arts. I’m now a full-time mum of Aiben (y2) and Amalia (yR).

I’m approachable, creative and curious and I am enjoying putting my skills - like critical thinking, financial oversight, problem-solving, engagement with diverse groups and performance evaluation – to good use as a Governor.
